We picked this Hotel only due to its proximity to our son's new home, and let me tell you, the people that take care of you here are the best. We arrived tired and worn out, and the gentleman who checked us in, Juan, was very helpful and nice. Each night that we stayed, we met a different desk person, and every one of them were great. Three best service, though, came from the nice lady who took care of the breakfast area. Unfortunately, I did not get her name, but she made the place shine! She had a sixth sense and knew what you wanted before you even knew. It was great.

I looked at all of the reviews of nearby hotels and nothing seemed super promising so we went with our gut on this one. So glad we did! The room was perfectly cozy and clean, I slept great, breakfast was delicious, and the person working down here kept checking to make sure we weee happy! I will definitely make this my choice next time!

We were traveling during the recent Nor'Easter in December and tried to go as far as we could. About 1:00 in the morning we finally found this place that had an open room period Maya heard about our travels and the hard time we had finding a hotel in another area. She bent over backward to do everything and anything she could to help us. She was so very sweet. She made us feel very welcome. Thank you, thank you Maya! The room was very nice, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. They had a good breakfast selection and the food was very good. I'd gladly stay here again.

Staff was amazing. General Manager and another staff whom cook and make the food. They are amazing souls. Customer service was genuine and they actually like to come to work and serve.

Minor updates. Pool area floor was a little dirty and. The filters were not worrying in the pool. Other than that, I had an amazing experience.

I chose this hotel for 2 reasons, the pool and dog friendly. They neglected to mention the pool is completely out of service, I would not have come here if I knew that. I understand they put us in dog friendly room but walking in had an overwhelming odor of a hamster cage. I never figured out what it was from. The light bulb was out in our lamp and the room doesnt have many lights. The carpet was coming up from the floor in spot. The fridge was dirty. I was there for 3 nights and they never came to change garbage or replace towels. The front desk girl was very nice, parking was ample, and it's near major roadways. I would not come back here and wouldn't recommend any one else. I would have gone 1 star but the customer service from the front desk helped a bit.

The location was perfect for our needs with ease of access to Richmond and the interstate. That's where the convenience ends. This place was old and unkept, with dirty carpets and cracking walls. It was difficult to even find a working ice machine, no water filling anywhere in the hotel including the breakfast buffet, and the elevator was so loud and clunky next to our room, I couldn't sleep. Using the elevator was precarious at best with it's bumping and jerking. The awkward gaps in the room doorway brought tons of light into the room from the hallway, not ideal for sleeping, and the mattress comfort was only so-so. The absolute highlight, however was the kind, warm, welcoming service of Ms. Walker in the breakfast area. She was a complete joy and made our experience much better.

We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. Mia at the front desk was the most kind and helpful front desk person I've ever encountered. She even changed our room number so it'd be extra quiet (and it was!) Our room was clean and bigger than I thought it would be! They have a pool and hot tub. And breakfast was also yummy. There were quite a few options. My favorite was the oatmeal bar where you could choose your toppings.
